Personal success or professional success?

Why do I have to choose? It seems that being successful on your career takes so much time and focusing that you can’t concentrate on your personal life. I’m not talking about doing your laundry, groceries or answering personal e-mails, which are usually also put off until you’re done with your job. I mean time for finding a person to share your life with, time for creating your own family, time for working out and being fit, time for visiting your family and friends (not only having a drink with your co-workers right after work), or just time for going shopping and renewing your closet.
Some people would say there is time for everything if you know how to organize. But evidence shows that only few people, who might have some kind of superpowers, manage to have EVERYTHING. So, is it that we are all wrong but them? I guess not. I say that we should try to rethink our priorities in life in order to achieve both goals: personal and professional success. Maybe the top shouldn’t be so high so we could reach it easier. Or maybe we shouldn’t judge people for the amount of success that they have but for their amount of happiness.
